T2 Tester

Tester plug for Alfa 33 16V. This plugs into connector T2 that is located under the bonnet in the electrical compartment for a RHD. For a LHD vehicle it is located inside the car, next to Bosch Motronic 4.1 unit which is hidden by passenger shell & speaker.

You will also need a description of the Blink code. This is a MS word document. Which you can download here. Blink codes

The wire colour is that from the existing connector T2.

This is a drawing of the connector T2 that you will find under the bonnet of the 33.

I used a 560ohm resistor on the led diode. This produces 20mA (approximately) for the led diode to operate.

Comments

I looked up the AMP connectors company in Australia and then they put me on to one of their distributors. You should be able to do the same thing where you live, try to see if you can see can get some "free samples" of the connectors from the distributor. Alternatively, Farnell have the connector in their catalogue. All the parts should not cost you much, if at all, depends on what parts you have already.

Good Luck,

Scott.
