Relay Shaped device fitted to the Alfa 33 16V
The relay shaped device is fitted to the connector S30. For a RHD vehicle it is located underneath the bonnet on the LHS near the battery. For a LHD vehicle it is located inside the car, next to Bosch Motronic 4.1 unit which is hidden by passenger shell & speaker.

The table shows
a) The colour of the relay shaped device fitted
b) The octane rating of the fuel
c) If the car has a Lambda probe
d) If the pin is shorted to pin 87
The pin numbers are on the bottom of the device, so it will have to be removed from its socket to check.
The reference to the Lambda probe appears to relate to the type of fuel being used. ie unleaded
Note: Use the correct setting for the type of fuel being used.
